In this self paced exploration, we will explore ways to keep our energy balanced and in harmony so you can burn brightly and not burn out. We will explore this through the lens of yoga therapy with 10 sessions of about 25-30 minutes designed to be a short, effective break in your day.
You will have the opportunity to explore any burnout you may be experiencing and reflect on how to change it.
If you are an educator, you can connect this to social, emotional learning and create a lesson plan. Earn 15 hours of Yoga Alliance and IAYT credit. For an additional fee, college credit and CE hours may be availalbe.
Yoga therapy tools we will use include movement for releasing, strengthening, stretching, and mobilizing the body. Others include breathing techniques, meditation, reflection, journaling, and more.
You will have access to course materials and the ability to connect with others in the space.
I will offer a lot of modifications. Materials you might like to use, but are optional are:
Yoga or exercise mat
Yoga blocks
Chair
Light weights
Resistance strap
Yoga strap, belt, or towel
Blanket
Pillow
A wall
